Underground Philosophy Presents
How does democracy — 'rule by the people' — reckon with who belongs in the polis, the nation, the conversation? Is it vulnerable to oligarchic manipulation? Populist reactivity? Is the legitimacy of liberal democracies today in terminal decline? What has become of the dream of democracy?

How this works
Attendees take a seat before a small stage in the underground vault beneath a cocktail bar. Throughout the evening, members of the audience and the Voicecraft Network will rotate places in dialogue on stage. Your spoken participation is optional. On booking your ticket, you can share a question, and indicate your interest to dialogue.
